iPhone Widgets
vord mobile widgets give you a quick view of sessions waiting for you and account usage without opening the app. Add them to your iPhone Home Screen or Lock Screen after pairing vord mobile with your Mac.
Projects
Section titled “Projects”The Projects widget shows per-project numbers instead of individual sessions: how many sessions are waiting for you, how many are working, and how many board items are open. Add the small, medium or large size to your Home Screen, or the inline version to your Lock Screen.
- The small Home Screen widget shows the waiting count, the working count, and the project with the most waiting sessions.
- The medium widget shows the counts and up to three projects; the large widget shows up to eight. Each project row shows waiting sessions, working sessions and — when present — open board items. Tap a project to jump straight to it: a waiting session opens first, otherwise the project board, otherwise the app.
- The Lock Screen inline widget shows the waiting count only.
- Tap a project to open it in vord mobile. If no project needs attention, the widget says Nothing is waiting for you.
Board & lead
Section titled “Board & lead”The Board & lead widget shows open board questions alongside the project lead for each project. The medium size shows one lead and one question; the large size shows up to two leads and three questions. Each lead row shows the project and whether the lead is working, waiting for you, or done. Tap a question title to open that item on its board.
For single-choice questions with up to four options, answer with one tap. The iPhone must be unlocked to send an answer. On iOS 26, vord mobile opens briefly to send if it is not already connected. On earlier iOS versions, tap the question to open vord mobile and send the queued answer. Other question types open the board without answer buttons.
The Usage widget shows account usage on your Lock Screen. Choose an account by editing the widget. The default selection, Highest usage, follows the account with the highest usage.
- The circular widget shows a usage gauge for one account.
- The rectangular widget shows up to two accounts and the number of waiting sessions.
- If usage data is not available, the widget says No usage data.
Live Activity
Section titled “Live Activity”Follow a project from its project menu. The Live Activity shows the project name, how many sessions are waiting for you, how many are working, and when those counts last changed. Tap it to open the project in vord mobile.
Add a widget
Section titled “Add a widget”- Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen until the apps jiggle.
- Tap Edit or the add button, then choose Add Widget.
- Find vord, choose a widget and size, then tap Add Widget.
- Move the widget where you want it and tap Done.
To add a Lock Screen widget, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, choose the Lock Screen, then tap the widget area. Find vord and select an inline or Usage widget. To choose a Usage account, touch and hold the widget after adding it, tap Edit Widget, and select the account.
Keep widget data fresh
Section titled “Keep widget data fresh”Widgets update from the latest connection with vord mobile and when a vord notification arrives. The footer shows Updated followed by the time, for example Updated 14:32. When the app is not connected, it shows Not connected with the last update time.
If you answer a question on your Mac, the widget may keep showing the previous waiting state until vord mobile connects again.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Session titles and questions are decrypted on your iPhone only; the server never sees them. Session titles and questions are hidden while the iPhone is locked. Lock Screen widgets show numbers only.
