What happens to your data
Section titled “What happens to your data”If nothing blocks you:
- Invoices remain because of statutory retention requirements.
- Your team’s content and data remain with the team.
- Your personal data in the Store and vord Cloud will be deleted.
- Purchased license keys will become invalid.
- Deletion takes place after 30 days. Until then, you can use your account normally and cancel the request.
Projects that belong to another team go to that team’s owner. Projects you own in a team you still own stay blocked while other members remain.
Send email code, then Confirm with your email code (We sent a code to {email}. It is valid for 10 minutes.) → Request account deletion.
During the 30 days
Section titled “During the 30 days”A banner on every Hub page: Your account will be deleted on {date}. with Cancel deletion. The same cancel control is on this profile page. Booking a plan or add-on during the grace period cancels the request automatically.
If a blocker appears after the request, deletion is paused. The profile card shows Deletion paused: {reason}. Once that is resolved, it will continue automatically. Cancel deletion stays available. When the blocker is gone, deletion continues on its own.
After the date, personal vaults and notes, sessions, activations, trusted Cloud devices, MCP grants, and memberships are removed. Team vault content stays; authorship in the database is anonymised. The version history of shared team notes can still show your name and email address on earlier edits. Purchased license keys are revoked. Invoice rows and snapshots stay unchanged. The account row remains as a tombstone so those invoices keep a valid reference.
